The 2010 summer collection includes a number of new products and naturally a number of products that we have adapted.  Below is just a taste of what you can expect!

New shoe collection: comfortable and reliable

The focus of this entirely new collection is mainly on the new hiking shoes and mountain boots. Kulma and Semo are the two hiking shoe models. Kulma is a full leather shoe that forms to the foot. The Semo model is a lightweight softshell shoe. Softshell combines two qualities that many travellers absolutely want their shoes to have: soft and comfortable on the inside and water-resistant on the outside. Both the Kulma and the Semo are comfortable, water-resistant and have a technical footbed.

The mountain boots come in three versions: Highwood, Granite and Moteng. The latter version is especially made for the kids. Just like the hiking shoes, the mountain boots are water-resistant and have a technical footbed. 

Colour Your Day Sandal

Nomad now makes it possible for you to design your own sandals just the way you want them.  You can remove and replace the coloured straps for another colour whenever you feel like it. Do you feel like a rock and roll star? Then choose black. Lazy Sunday afternoon on the water? Go for clear blue. Are you in a creative mood? Then choose purple! The possibilities are endless! 

Lightweight tents

After the successful introduction of Nomad’s 2 person lightweight tent, we now have a 4 person version – the Source 4. We can now serve a broader group of enthusiastic motorbikers and cyclists. The same unique ventilation and pole systems, which labelled the Spring 2 and Source 2 as remarkable models in 2009, are used for this new tent.   

Nomad tunnel tents: affordable luxury and ample space 

Thanks to the Nomad family tents you no longer have to feel “like sardines in a tin” when you go camping with the family. A combination of high quality materials and plenty of space means that every family can now camp in luxury. In addition to established models such as the Bantu and Touarec, this year we also have the new Dogon 3 Air; an exceptionally spacious tent that offers a maximum of 3 people an excellent base for longer periods.   

Nomad Kids Travel Bed

This award-winning camping cot will keep your baby or toddler warm and safe when you are heading out or staying with friends.   The camping cot is light, easy to manage and quick to assemble, making it perfect to take with you on a picnic or a day out on the beach.  The two openings at the top and the side allow easy access; if necessary, they can be closed. In warm weather the insect protection gauze allows sufficient air circulation and keeps insects away from the cot. A self-inflating mat or a foam mat can be placed in a special compartment, enabling you to turn the Kids Sleeping Bag into a comfortable camping bed. The cot weighs just 1750 g and when folded measures 55 x 13 cm. Available in flame retardant polyester or 100% cotton in a variety of colours.

SleepyHero/SleepyBeauty

Bedtime stories are no longer necessary when you go on holiday with this sleeping bag for children between the ages of 3 and 7. Going to bed is a treat in itself in this trendy little Nomad model. While the girls are snuggling down in their pink SleepyBEAUTY, the boys are on their way to dreamland in their SleepyHERO. The 3D Polarsoft filling keeps your children nice and warm, even when it is only 5 degrees outside. What’s more, the sleeping bag measuring 160*70 cm weighs just 1.4 kilos. This is a nice weight for the kids to carry themselves.
